MiBarrio.org is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the community of East Harlem/Spanish Harlem/ El Barrio  located in New York City. MiBarrio.org gathers information and informs people about this rich, diverse community, its culture and music.

El Barrio is a place where I've had the pleasure of being born and raised. I’ve seen my "stomping grounds” go through various changes over the years but this predominately Puerto Rican community still manages to hold on to its roots and extremely rich culture. I hope to be able to give back to the place I call home, a piece of what it has given to me... memories of family and friends,  a lifetime of pride for my Puerto Rican heritage and respect for other cultures.
