things happening all over the country and beyond. A definite stop for
those interested in the West Coast as well as Chicago, Miami and spots around
the world. There is an approval process, but it is well worth it once you
get in. The two moderators Luis Moreno and Goyo Pappas, are excellent sources of information on all matters ranging

Puerto Ricans.com Puerto Ricans.com is a great website for all things Puerto Rican, and features discounts on travel, memorabilia, products, etc. I t also has a special section that is dedicated to the towns and cities of Puerto Rico, their history and cultural events. Boasting over 4 million hits a month, this is a good website to check out.
Music of Puerto Rico is the brainchild of Jaime Serrat is an enormous compilation of Biographies, articles, CD's, artist discography, and cultural information on the music of Puerto Rico and the Caribbean in general. The range of music spans everything from Salsa to Merengue, Reggaeton, Latin Jazz and more. This is a great site which has generously allowed us to copy portions of their material and to link to them directly. A great website that it dedicated to providing news from the
East Harlem Community, with extensive photo galleries and events coverage by
Allen Spatz and Richard Moreno. This is a great site for staying in touch
with events and places to see in El Barrio, the home of Tito Puente, Joe Cuba,
Tito Rodriguez, and the list goes on and on.... Check it out!

This great organization has helped many artists and artist organizations, such as the Pregones Theatre Company. It also has many grant developing programs, for the artists and artist organizations.
The Liberty High School Partnership Program - Located in various high schools throughout the metro area, the Liberty
partnership program offers high school students with counseling, remedial
instruction, college bound courses and opportunities, as well as other
artistic endeavors.

The Point CDC - Community Development Corporation
This community organization which is based in Hunts Point offers a number of worthwhile programs, including an after school Music Academy directed by Angel Rodriguez, a computer business school, on the job training, and a Blackbox Theatre Program.
The Caribbean Cultural Center - A community and arts organization that has been serving the New York community for over twenty years. It sponsors many education related programs as well as theatre and concert events. Always considered to be a leader in the presentation of Caribbean based art forms, this is a cool site to check out!
